Confidence in Traffic:
Drivers Ed for Bicyclists
The course consists of approximately 4 hours of online instruction and testing (taken on your schedule before the class), and 3-4 hours of on-bike instruction and practice (in a parking lot), followed by a 3-6 mile ride on local roads to practice the skills you have just learned. Clinic requires a minimum of three students; maximum 8. The course is open to all cyclists age 15 or older.
After completing this course you will have increased confidence in yor ability to ride in traffic on the streets in a safe and legal manner. You will learn basic traffic law as it relates to bicycles, as well as learning valuable handling and hazard avoidance skills.

Smart Cycling 123:
For new and returning cyclists
If you are new to cycling or returning after years off of the bike, you may feel a little uncomfortable with some of the basic handling skills. This clinic is designed to cover the basics in a safe environment and allow you to feel more comfortable in handling your bike. The clinic will take 1-2 hours. It is a great refresher for the next level of instruction, Confidence in Traffic.
Note: Discounts for groups or corporations.
9-14 Year Olds
Smart Cycling for Youth
If you would like your child to learn the basics of smart (safe) cycling, this course if for you. Taught by League of American Cyclists certified instructors, this course cover helmets and fitting, basic bike safety checks, rules of the road, and how to scan for cars, signal turns and lane changes, etc. It is designed for youths 9-14 years old who can already balance and steer the bike, but need to know safe practices.
The class lasts approximately 4 hours, and is mostly on-bike. Depending on class size and skill levels, we may end with a safe neighborhood ride so the students can demonstrate their newly learned skills in a real life situation. Each student must have a working bike and helmet.
